Phonological innovations for these sixteen varieties are presented, and an effort is made to weigh the relative significance of the various innovations for the purposes of delineating dialects. These data are analyzed using the comparative method, relying heavily on past reconstruction efforts, most notably that of Proto-Malayic by Adelaar (1992). Sixteen areas, two downstream and fourteen upstream, were sampled and their core vocabulary recorded using wordlists and texts. Motivated by Bronson's (1977) hypothesis that, in much of Southeast Asia, river systems are a key interpretive grid for understanding the region's history, the techniques of dialect geography and the historical-comparative method are used to map the present-day Malay dialects in this river basin and to demonstrate historical relationships among various Malay-speaking areas. This study is a documentation of the speech of orang Jambi, the approximately one million Malays who live in the Batanghari river basin of Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. While the Malays of southeast Sumatra, beginning with the kingdoms of Melayu and Srivijaya in the 7th century, long dominated the vital trade links between India and China, the speech of their modern-day descendants remains poorly documented and subject to needless controversy. In enhancing the knowledge of light novel authors, this program provides a variety of things required by novice authors in term writing light novels ranging from the creative process to the production process. All of the challenges are address in this research, resulting in that Wikiba Literacy Sharing program is an effective means of education in improving the knowledge of the novice light novel authors that give them solid knowledge and the motivation to hone their abilities and skills in writing a light novel. There were several challenges in this enterprise namely (1) syllabus creation, (2) knowledge sharing, and (3) output evaluation. A project named Wikiba Literacy Sharing propose to be a means of education in improving the knowledge and understanding of novice authors in Indonesia.
Light novel is relatively new outside of Japan, and that causes the limited material for learning light novel. This research aims to help novice author in Indonesia that have an interest in light novel to learn about the craft. In Indonesia, most light novel is self-publish. In North America, light novel has a steady growth in publication in 2017, doubling the number in 2016. Light novel is the source of the modern anime adaptation rivaling manga. This type of literature bridge the gap between manga and general novel.
Unknown to most people, light novel is a style of novel originated from Japan that target teens and young adults.
